- Must show examples, practical
applications, cause & effect, case studies
- Must be original material
- Must have a well-defined
focus
- Technical content is appropriate
and used correctly
- Proposal should completely
discuss subject matter
- Content should advance
quality profession
Presentation Formats
- Lecture sessions—the traditional
session
- Participation sessions—provides
a shared learning experience through participation or a hands-on
learning experience
- Case study—provides
an example showing the application or method, barriers encountered
and solutions, lessons learned, demonstrated statistical results
of implementation
PAPER SUBMISSION
GUIDELINES
FORMAT
AND SIZE
-
All
papers should be typed on Microsoft Word-version 6,
in Times New Roman, font size 10 and sent on a 3 ½” formatted
floppy together with a hard copy.

Size
of the paper be kept between 2500 to 3500 words.
B) TITLE
-
The
main title of your paper must not exceed 50 characters.
This includes letters, spaces and punctuation.
-
The
title should be capitalized and centered at the top
of the first page of your paper.
-
If
you choose to have a subtitle, it should be capitalized
and centered directly below the main title. The main
title should be with colon.
C) HEADINGS
-
Headings
and subheadings must be capitalized and set flush left.
-
Use
double space after the headings, before starting the
next paragraph.
D) ILLUSTRATION
GUIDELINES
-
Illustrations
such as photographs, charts, graphs, drawings, and
diagrams should be labeled, so that they correspond
with their mention in the next (e.g. Table-1, Figure-2,
Diagram-3).

Use
only black & white glossy prints and do not attach
photos to your paper.
-
Indicate
on the back of each photograph your name and where
the photo should be inserted in the text.
-
Commercial
charting and graphing materials in back & white
are acceptable.
-
Computer
generated charts, sharp, diagrams, and maps are acceptable
as long as they are printed on a printer that produces
clear, sharp image (e.g. laser printers.)
-
If
you are drawing your charts, graphs, maps drawing,
or diagrams by hand, please use only black ink.
-
If
a printout must be part of your illustrations, be sure
they are very clear, dark and reproducible.
E) PHOTOGRAPH & CV:
-
All
papers must be accompanied by one passport size color
photograph together with a full C.V., and a brief CV
(not exceeding 50 words) for your introduction at the
congress.
